1. Returns Eligibility
To qualify for a return, please ensure that the following conditions are met:
- Time Frame: Items must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot process returns beyond this period.
- Condition: Products must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received them. They should also be in their original packaging.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return. This helps us verify your transaction and process your return efficiently.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
- Products that have been used or damaged by the customer.
- Items without their original packaging.
- Items marked as non-returnable or final sale at the time of purchase.
- Custom or personalized orders.
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email returns@shopshield.co.za with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Await Confirmation: Our customer service team will review your request and, if it meets our return policy criteria, will provide you with a return authorization and detailed instructions on how to send back your items.
- Ship the Item: Securely package the item(s) and ship them to the address provided in the return authorization email. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days.
5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, email us at returns@shopshield.co.za with your order number and details about the defect or damage.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Return Shipping Label: In certain cases, we may provide a prepaid return shipping label. If applicable, this will be communicated in the return authorization email.
7. Exceptions
In the case of a product being defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately at returns@shopshield.co.za with detailed information and pictures of the defect or damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
